The National Works Agency of Jamaica can now on prioritise Road work programmes with Harfan IDSS
In 2005, the Inter-America Development Bank (IDB) has approved the selection of Dillon Consulting, partner of Harfan Technologies, to conduct the Institutional Strengthening Component of the National Road Services Improvement Programme (NSIP). Part of this project was to support the establishment of a 3-year performance based routine maintenance programme utilizing the RMMS software (to generate prioritised work programmes). In this case, the Harfan IDSS is the tool that was used to produce the capital work programmes. The system is now fully implemented and 3 users have been trained and are now producing capital plan scenarios to support Nation-wide decisions, over the 4700 km of roads the Agency manages.
